The Galaxycorder PL-8000 (model number 988.123-H) is a 3-piece ghettoblaster / stereo-anlage that was sold by Nordmende in the late 1980's. It measures 675 x 235 x 165 mm. It has two orange back-lit LCD displays for the tuner and the output level display. It has 2 cassette decks with Synchro and High-Speed Dubbing, and Continuous Play. It is powered by either 220 volts AC, or ten D-cell batteries.
It is an AKA of the Telefunken HP-830T and the Saba RCP-692. The Telefunken service manual says that it produces 2 x 10 watts Sine, or 2 x 20 watts Music Power.
